After you use the Transfer Die Guide Wizard to set up the environment for starting a Transfer Die Quote, the Transfer Die Guide menu is shown on the right hand side of the graphics area. It is presented in the order your would logically follow to create a Die Quote. The definitions for each of the functions are shown in the following table..

Function Description |
Create a UCS by defining a plane that will be normal to its Z axis. |
Create a DieTip CS (Coordinate System) on a forming shape. The DieTip CS is the master UCS for a forming shape part. The positioning of the parts in the forming shape assembly is defined according to this UCS. |
Create a skin (with no thickness) from an object. This enables clear and easy analysis of operations in the system. |
Create or edit the blank for the electrode, using finite element analysis (FEA). |
Create an offset path to a blanked part to add extra material around the perimeter. |
Create the forming shape (where the part is gradually unfolded) by defining the appropriate transfer shape over a selected blank. |
This function provides a method to efficiently define the various Forming Operations including single axis bending, multi axis forming, ribs, embosses, extrusions, darts, gussets, and more. |
This function provides a method to define various Restrike and CAM Operations, such as single axis restriking, multi axis restriking, flattening, coining, and CAM forms, in an efficient manner. |
This function provides a method to efficiently estimate the various Cutting Operations. |
Use this function to submit the collected data to the online estimation engine. |
