Select multiple entities by dragging a rectangle over the relevant area. The entities that are selected by dragging depend on your defined Selection Preferences.
Note: When you click an entity, it becomes selected and is displayed as selected in the defined color. You can define the color of selected entities (and also highlighted entities) in the Preferences under Tools > Preferences > General > Colors and Styles > Highlight and Select.
With the left mouse button pressed, drag a rectangle that encompasses all entities you want to select.
If you drag a box from right to left , only entities fully contained by the box are selected.
If you drag a box from left to right, all partially and fully contained entities are selected.
