Select entities.
Select previously created Sketcher entities for various operations, for example to edit the entities, break their constraints, or edit dimensions.
Note: For details of how to edit a sketch from within an external function (such as Extrude and Revolve) see Editing a Feature.
Select mode is the default working mode in the Sketcher. This means that if you are in another function (i.e. creating lines), pressing <exit><exit> will return you to Select mode.
While you are in Select mode, the cursor appears as a black pointer

Entities can be moved in Select mode, or you can use the Copy/Move & Rotate function or the Mirror function.
Select mode is not used for adding constraints to entities. For this you must use the Add Constraints function

Editing is restricted by pre-existing constraints. An entity cannot be edited if underlying constraints do not permit. If required, you can break an entity's constraints to make it independent of all other entities.
